By day, Elizabeth writes about everything from Medicaid to incontinence at McKnight’s Long-Term Care News. By night, she’s working on fiction and essays, and trying to avoid being mauled by cats.
Elizabeth was previously the editorial manager at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, and before that was a reporter for Capital-Gazette newspapers in Annapolis. She also has written for the Kenosha News, The Olympian and the American Psychological Association’s Monitor magazine.
She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. A Virginia native, she lives in Chicago with her husband Justin and four feline terrorists.
